About me:

My name is Judy Ramírez and I’m the founder of VitaSuperfoods, a purpose-driven brand dedicated to transforming health through functional nutrition. I’m passionate about empowering people to live better through mindful food choices, and I bring over 15 years of experience in the healthy food industry, with a strong focus on innovation, product development, and sustainability.

About my business:
VitaSuperfoods was born out of a personal commitment to improve people’s lives through nutritious, natural food. We create healthy, functional products – including superfood granolas, high-protein snacks, powdered superfoods, and instant blends – using 100% Peruvian ingredients sourced from small farmers and Indigenous communities. One of our latest initiatives is Vibra, a concept that blends innovation, technology, and ancestral knowledge to develop targeted nutritional solutions for different life stages. Through Vibra, we’ve launched functional coffees and powdered instant drinks specifically designed for women in perimenopause and menopause. These are formulated with Peruvian superfoods, adaptogens, and bioactive compounds that support hormonal balance, energy, and emotional wellbeing.

We started out in local markets, but through innovation, storytelling, and community collaboration, we’ve expanded into international markets such as Ecuador, Bolivia, and Honduras. What sets us apart is our ability to combine science, tradition, and sustainability to create accessible health solutions with social impact.

Program Expectations:
By joining the APEC Women’s Business Activator Program, my goal is to strengthen my leadership and global business skills, connect with other women entrepreneurs across the Asia-Pacific region, and explore strategies to scale VitaSuperfoods internationally. I’m especially excited about the opportunity for one-on-one mentoring, gaining insights into export and innovation strategies, and sharing the richness of Peruvian superfoods with the world.
